A number of pioneering companies were quick to recognise the advantages of SOBO District as a location, establishing bases in two of its original office developments. In the past decade BNY Mellon, Morgan Stanley, Realex Payments, Riot Games and Publicis have moved here, creating a successful business cluster that cements the area’s credentials.
Recognising these credentials, Hibernia REIT plc have acquired Windmill Lane and the existing office properties and initiated construction of two landmark new office developments. These four Grade A global headquarters (totalling 400,000 sq ft) will be augmented by the 10,000 sq ft SOBO Works coworking space, a 12,000 sq ft gym, two new cafes and new retail stores to create a self-contained hub at the heart of the modern city.
