SOBO DISTRICT IS WHERE THE DOCKLANDS MEET AND THE MODERN CITY BEGINS.

A Well Connected Neighbourhood

SOBO District is within easy reach of everywhere, whatever your preferred mode of transport.  Three of the city’s main termini (Pearse Station, Connolly Station, Docklands Station) are all within short walks, giving you a choice of DART and Irish Rail services.
Dublin Bus runs directly to the city along the quays, Luas Cross-City is 5mins from O’Casey bridge and Airlink Express stops outside Facebook’s offices. Cyclists can grab Dublinbikes at one of the four local stations and motorists have easy access to the airport and motorways via The Port Tunnel and East Link bridge.

An interesting cluster of independent businesses is spearheading the SOBO revival. Built in 1780, The Ferryman Townhouse and Bar has been there from the start. With great river views and a hugely popular terrace, its traditional pub is a SOBO institution. The hospitality extends to the townhouse with its 18 newly refurbished rooms.
Upriver towards Windmill Lane, the chic Caffe Parigi is the perfect place to unwind over coffee or enjoy great cooking. More of a Power Lunch person? The innovative CrossFit Perpetua gym will shape you up. Staying for business? Check out the 5-Star Marker Hotel, 4-Star Spencer Hotel and Clayton Hotel or 3-Star Hilton Garden Inn.
